School, Leaves, and Yours Truly

I got tired of every "life lately" post having the same title every time, so this is my attempt at a creative title.

Truth is, my life has been hectic with school and marching band and my outfits have been a little less than desirable. My brain is doing its best trying to finish my AP homework before midnight and getting A's in the rest of my classes. Putting an aesthetically pleasing outfit has presented me with a challenge. Most days, you'll find me now in a tee and jeans or leggings, maybe the occasional button down. Thankfully, I'm beginning to adapt to this crazy schedule and am getting back into the cute-outfit swing of things, but in the mean time, life goes on:

I'm very much enjoying the nature in my own back yard. The leaves in MD aren't as spectacular as last year, but they still take my breath away

Sophomore year is killing me!!!

I've become obsessed with making my own monogram...i made these on this site. Do you have a favorite?

I made these myself by re-sizing letters, moving them, overlapping them, etc... Out of these and the ones above, which do you think i should stick with?

Fall decorations

Totally in love with this blog...turns out, we go to the same school!!

Catching up on movie watching. Most recently viewed: Inception and the Dark Knight movies

#nowplaying for halloween

and this is me. I originally did what other bloggers did and modeled my outfits, so there was a time that my face was on this blog. My mom decided that was a bit unsafe so the entire twirl team created an online identity but I'm so done with "birdy". My name is Hannah, and from now on, that's what i will be going by. And yes, that is a Raven's jersey ;)
Have a Wonderful Week and a Happy Halloween,

I know you want to see the dogs so...

Spotlight On: Kate Spade Day Disco

My dad recently created a "funk" playlist on his iPod and after hearing a few of the 70's songs, i'm hooked. Coincidentally, i was doing some online shopping (solely for inspiration purposes...) and stumbled upon a trend that kate spade seems to be loving: Day Disco.
I can't help but swoon over the updated bell bottoms and modern jumpsuits that look oh-so-chic, yet oh-so-seventies. Can you see why i'm in love?

From the over-sized prints to the over-sized sunglasses, this bold, disco-era, inspired trend is getting the best of my love!
P.s, bonus points if you can tell me what song i reference in the last sentence (artist included!!)

Spotlight on: J.Crew Baby

Jcrew Baby

Fox Sweater / Yellow Floral Outfit / Blue Tunic / Tutu dress / Anchor dress / Striped one-piece / Gray Bloomers / Colorblocked one-piece / Sneakers / Sperry Top-Sider / Shearling booties / Pink One-piece / elephant bloomers / wave bloomers / beanie / dot booties / blue jumper / gray mitten sweater / très cool sweater / limo toy

We recently had great friends visit us, and they had little kids. Naturally, having the maternal instincts of a 15-year-old babysitter, i was all over them! They were adorable and their lovely little fashions were too much. No, i am not having a baby, and yes the reason i post baby clothing is because i simply love it. J.crew just came out with their new baby line and it's adorable! Like i said in this post, i technically shouldn't be interested in baby clothes at my age, but now and then, an ad will catch my eye and leave me wishing i was a kid again. Although more basic than the DVF for gap collection, i think that these clothes are more preppy and better for everyday life. Also, as well as being delicate an feminine, some of these jumpers and things are pieces that I can imagine looking simply adorable on a little boy. From the girly ruffles, to the boyish coloring, to the more neutral and unisex pieces, every little outfit is perfectly made and perfectly wearable for the stylish tot.
